CREATIONS
"No dogs but lots of lobster", Maine 2019.
Inspired by Ned, Barcelona c. 2016
I wrote my high school research project on the stories that are hidden within the frames of North American photographer Annie Leibovitz (1949 - ), and discovered the beauty of disposable cameras. They make one-time shots in which there is no going back, no editing, no second chances.
The sea and my father are big inspiration, but so are true smiles, empty streets with dusty glow, and little fixings that make a home a home.
When I illustrate, I think of what the Spanish born, Argentinian raised painter Esteban Lisa (1895 - 1983) said. It does not matter how or what you do, but you must participate in the creative act.
